Sherman-Denison metropolitan area
The Sherman•Denison Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of one county • Grayson • in North Texas, anchored by the cities of Sherman and Denison. As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 110,595 (though a July 1, 2009 estimate placed the population at 120,030).[1] The Sherman•Denison Metropolitan Statistical Area is a component of the Dallas•Fort Worth Combined Statistical Area, which covers a 19-county area and had an estimated population of 6,805,275 as of July 1, 2009.[2]
