Rita Blanca National Grassland

Rita Blanca National Grassland is a National Grassland located in northern Dallam County, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, and in southern Cimarron County, Oklahoma, in the western Oklahoma Panhandle, USA. It is not one solid block of government owned land but rather several small blocks of government owned land. It has a land area of 92,989 acres (145.3 sq mi, or 376.3 km²).[1] The grassland is administered by the Forest Service together with the Cibola National Forest and the Black Kettle, Kiowa, and McClellan Creek National Grasslands, from common headquarters located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are local ranger district offices located in Clayton, New Mexico.

The principal city in the area is Dalhart, Texas, which houses the XIT Museum.
