Public Relations

PSJA High School is under public scrutiny after a gang fight broke out during a lunch shift which involved 76 students, some of which were armed with brass knuckles and firearms, although no shots were fired.Almost a month afterward, there was a bomb threat that was revealed to be a hoax. The controversy stems from the fact that the students who called in the threat made the call during class, with many questioning the administration's competence. Also in 2003 , there were apparent threats also made. One student who was a female was expelled.
