Pennsylvania's Northwest Region
The Northwest Region is an area of Pennsylvania containing Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties. The population of the region is 908,367. Population growth is stable with increases in Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, and Forest counties, but decreases in Lawrence, Mercer, and Venango counties.
It is also noted for the Allegheny National Forest.
