Multimedios Television

Multimedios Television is a network of Spanish language television stations found throughout Mexico. The system is part of Grupo Multimedios

It has two channels, one broadcast on XHAW-TV channel 12 in Monterrey which features locally produced news, sports, children's shows and general mass appeal programming. Multimedios produces more than 20 hours of channel 12's programming daily. They also broadcast Milenio Television in Sabinas Hidalgo on XHSAW-TV channel 64, a 24 hour news channel. Multimedios Tv can be viewed online on the Multimedios website Multimedios.tv.

The company also has network affiliates in many cities, some of which produce local content. The networks spans most of northeastern Mexico, and the southern United States.

United States

All American Multimedios affiliates are owned and operated by other broadcasters, due to FCC regulations regarding foreign ownership of radio and TV stations. As of early 2007, Multimedios is no longer leasing stations from MAKO Communications. They are maintaining their El Paso and San Diego stations as a way of reaching viewers in Mexico.
