Mission High School (Mission, Texas)

Mission High School is a secondary school located in Mission, Texas.

Mission High School, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Mission Consolidated Independent School District.

Mission High School was, for many years, the only high school for the city of Mission. Currently, it competes in the 4-A Texas classification, however will be competing in 5-A Texas Classification as of the 2010 - 2011 year and is home to approximately 2,200 students. At its peak, it was home to over 4,000 students before MCISD split the Mission High School attendance zone into two, with the addition of Veterans Memorial High School.

The graduation of 2011 will be the 100th graduation ceremony of the school.

A short film entitled Toothpaste was filmed on location at this school, which was the school of main characters Jennifer and Christina.
