KKCP-LP

KKCP-LP is a low-power television station in Ballinger, Texas, also serving Coleman/San Angelo. The station started broadcasting on March 19, 2002.

History

The station began as a construction permit granted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to Winstar Farwell, Inc. on March 19, 2002. Originally given the callsign K50BG, it was to broadcast on UHF channel 50, serving San Angelo. Winstar Farwell agreed to sell the construction permit to Prime Time Christian Broadcasting on October 17, 2002.
