Coastal Bend Thunder

The Coastal Bend Thunder is a professional baseball team based in Robstown, Texas, in the United States. The Thunder is a member of United League Baseball, an independent professional league which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball or Minor League Baseball. Set to begin play for the 2009 season, the Thunder will play its home games at Fairgrounds Field. The Thunder is the third team in the past seven years to make Fairgrounds Field their home, following the Coastal Bend Aviators of the Central Baseball League (and later the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball) and the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs of the Continental Baseball League.
