Candela, Coahuila
Candela is a city in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. The municipal seat of the surrounding municipality of Candela, it is located at 100° 39' 43" West, 26° 50' 25" North, in the state's central region (Región Centro). There were 1,669 inhabitants in 2000.
It was founded in 1690 by General Alonso de León as a mission called San Bernardino de la Candela.

Candela, Coahuila is a town with that attracts people with its aquatic parks. There are three aquatic recreational areas in Candela. They are: Los Carrisitos, Las Lajitas, and El Ojo de Agua. Los Carrisitos is made up of pools that are filled up with clean mountain water. It is also a great place to go in a pic nic or on a carne asada. Las Lajitas is part of the Candela river (which will take you to the town if you swim downstream). It is noticeable for the shape of its rocks. That is the reason that it was names "Las Lajitas". El Ojo de Agua i a spring of thermoheated waters. You can enjoy a skin renewval bath there. It is also good for people that have wrinkles and want to avoid votox.
